Goldstar is looking to add an experienced developer to our small but smart and scrappy team. This is a great opportunity to participate in building out a really great user experience not just for web but also mobile. Our app has great bones to work with and you'll have direct support of designers and backend developers to take lots of great projects from inception to completion.
An excellent candidate will possess:
- A deep understanding of the Good Parts of Javascript.
- Experience doing Test Driven Development of Javascript web applications.
- An educated opinion of many of the leading JS frameworks including JQuery and Backbone.js.
- Up to date knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and the associated browser implementations of the specs.
- Experience developing rich UIs for mobile and tablets.
- A pragmatic view of CoffeeScript and SASS.
- Love for performance.
Also helpful:
- Experience working on an agile team.
- An irrational love of Jasmine.
- An uncanny knack for taking a design and turning it into something really great.
- Battle scars from the impending browser wars of 2014.
- A long list of things you thought were good ideas but which ended horribly.
