Position Summary:
As a Flash Developer, you will be responsible concepting, scoping and the development of highly interactive websites, applications, and other digital projects. You will lead projects as well as work on teams with other highly skilled creative and development talent. We are looking for someone with an understanding of how design and technology work in tandem and who is excited about learning and implementing new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on role in developing interactive websites, apps, games, etc.
- Serve as the lead flash developer on selected projects•Utilize performance optimization practices
- Work with the team to help determining the scope of work for projects •Write scalable, reusable, clean code and document it
- Plan and architect interactive elements ahead of time along with other team members
- Learn and contribute to RED's development Framework
- Maintain the highest coding standards and best practices by keeping up with the latest development enhancements and techniques
- Contribute RED code libraries and research new technologies during down time
Requirements:
- At least 4+ years of professional interactive programming experience
- Expert in ActionScript 3.0, OOP
- Collaborative, self motivated, dedicated creative professional •Good communication skills
- Solid understanding of usability, best practices, optimization techniques
- Understanding of user centered thinking
- Creative toolset knowledge (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Interest in experimenting with new technologies; eager to learn
- Degree in Computer Science is a plus
- Client facing experience is a plus
- Javascript, HTML (HTML5) and CSS experience a plus
