Sq1 Agency is looking for a multi-talented Junior PHP Developer/Intern to join our growing development team. As a part of this team you will work closely with our lead developer and project managers in a fast paced environment to plan, develop, test, and deploy web projects that range from marketing landing pages and micro-sites to full-scale website solutions.
The ideal candidate is a soon-to-be or recent college graduate in a web development field. You have a strong competency for developing websites using PHP and MySQL and have a passion for staying up to date with the latest web technologies and best practices. You have an attention to detail and enjoy reading and writing clean code. You are also able to communicate and work in a team environment.
Skills
PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, JSON/XML, LAMP, bash/shell/command-line
You Have
- Collegiate level education in a development related field
- 0-3 years experience with PHP/MySQL
- Experience validating form data using PHP
- Experience with select/insert/update queries
- Attention to detail and writing clean code
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration
- Passion for learning and sharing knowledge
- Creative problem solver
- Ability to work on tasks independently
Would be great if you have
- Experience with Git or other version control system
- Knowledge/Understanding of OOP and MVC in any language
