Flash Developer

Brooklyn, NYThe Chopping Block is looking for an experience, energetic (and funny) Flash developer to help us get a handful of education projects out the door.
• Overview: Convert approved game design screens into production ready as3 objects & prototype implementation. Creating well formed scripted and/or timeline animation as needed. Further work includes developing an interactive 3d prototype
• Timeframe: Estimated at least 2 weeks of work, over the course of a month, starts asap.
• At least 2+ year of proven interactive development experience.
• Solid awareness of ActionScript 3 OOP, Design Pattens, Motion Scripting, and Flash Professional CS5 (for assets).
• Familiarity with TextMate & github.
• Familiarity with Away3d (or comparable 3d engine), AIR for iOS (might end up being ported)
• Strong communication skills (both in person and in writing), the ability to work (at least part time) in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
