Herndon, VA Relocation assistance offeredHuddler is looking for a web designer to assist in the creation and maintenance of the visual aesthetics and the user experience of our growing stable of community oriented websites. We need someone who can work in an environment with rapid evolution and demands, handling a steady stream of new features and sites, with an extreme eye for detail. This person will have to care about and advocate for every aspect of our sites visual representation, down to the pixel. You'll work closely on-site in our casual Herndon, VA office with other designers, developers and sales team members.
Required skills:
- Strong web design portfolio, showcasing diversity of style and creativity
- Experience creating engaging, visually appealing web application interfaces (not just brochure websites)
- Strong HTML/CSS skills
- Ability to roadmap design ideas for larger tasks, thinking through user interactions and engagement
- Strong proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc
- Provide a combination of visual design skills and technical understanding
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Bonus skills:
- Mobile OS design experience
- Experience skinning/theming web platforms (similar to a CMS)
- Experience working with online communities
- JavaScript
- PHP

This is a full time, associate level position.
