The Jaspersoft Enterprise Web Developer will be ultimately responsible for ongoing development, maintenance and support of the Jaspersoft.com, and Jasperforge.org corporate websites. The ideal candidate will have a broad base of experience as an enterprise web developer using Drupal version 6.x, as well as strong project management skills.
Essential Functions
* Setup and configure Drupal 6.x sites
* Develop unique and innovative custom modules
* Advanced Drupal theming
* Work within a team environment and contribute to fulfill personal and company goals
* Attend meetings with stakeholders and outside vendors regularly, and provide updates to development teams
* Provide regular status reports of progress
* Develop and maintain website project plans, delivering on time and on budget.
Job Requirements
* BS Degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years experience building enterprise websites with Drupal.
a) core installation, b) module development, c) theme customization
*High proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript and familiarity with Apache servers
* Demonstrable experience optimizing highly-trafficed Enterprise web sites.
* 3+ Years experience with PHP, and MySQL administration, development & tuning
* Experience with web service integrations, and OO programming.
* Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Mac environments.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of the open source community and the developers who participate in open source projects.
Knowledge of the software market, specifically, open source key players and projects.
Knowledge of SEO/SEM
