Front-end Web Developer (UI)

This full-time, on-site position offers a combination of front-end web development, design, and application definition. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks, CSS, and HTML, along with solid user interface design skills.
The Front-end Dev. position is part of a small UI team that works with the product development team in an agile development process. The UI team also works with Product Management to define and prototype new designs.
Responsibilities:
- Build the UI and the UI component libraries for our products, maintaining compliance w/ web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility guidelines.
- Work w/ product developers to develop and implement consistent UI elements used throughout Kavi's applications
- Participate actively in product design and development.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years in web software development
- Solid standards-based web authoring skills
- Experience building and maintaining web application interfaces
- Demonstrated ability to produce rich web-based application interfaces using progressive enhancement techniques to support a variety of web clients.
