Front-End Web Developer (HTML, CSS)

Arena is looking for a front-end web developer with an excellent design sense to develop semantic, bulletproof, cross-browser code for modern web applications. You will work side by side with the product design team to craft the user experience for our flagship product.
Note: This is a full-time, on-site position in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please do not apply if you are not willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
- Accurately convert visual designs into working web pages (using HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Develop responsive, efficient, cross-browser functionality
- Actively contribute to the design and architecture of solutions
- Audit and optimize existing code base
Qualifications
- Two to four years of web application development experience
- Strong proficiency in standards-based web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Keen eye for implementing designs down to the last detail
- Deep knowledge of browser quirks and best practices with strong debugging skills
- Passion for simple, usable and user-centered solutions
- Familiarity with web APIs, other development frameworks (Dojo), and backend technologies
- Familiarity with Agile development processes

The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment.
