Forum One is currently seeking a Senior Web Designer to be the visionary voice for the design and development of compelling user experiences. The ideal candidate produces elegant, innovative interfaces; dreams in CSS, HTML, and JQuery; and is able to eloquently communicate design decisions so that developers and clients are equally passionate about those solutions.
Responsibilities
- Ability to design and implement compelling user experiences
- Provide creative direction for internal and external projects
- Strong communication skills: able to explain design concepts equally well to other designers, developers, and clients
- Thorough understanding of web standards; ability to balance visual design with technical platforms
- Inspire a culture of innovation and teamwork
- Assist with pitching creative concepts and winning new business

Key Qualifications
- BA / BFA in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Web Design
- Portfolio site that clearly demonstrates your abilities
- Deep expertise in HTML/CSS, DHTML, XML, DOM, AJAX, and Web 2.0 technologies
- 5+ years professional web design experience
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite
- Experience with Flash and ActionScript
- Experience with Drupal is desired
- Expert in industry UI standards, tools and related technologies
- Be a self-starter; play well with others; have a get-it-done mindset
