Freelance

(Anywhere)
I'm an information architect that owns a small consultancy based in NYC. I'm currently overworked and have more projects coming along in the near future and need to build up a network of talent to help me when needed.

Someone who is a senior level IA and that I can trust to take a leading role on projects that I assign to you. This sort of person must have a strong representative portfolio.

Must Haves include:

Experience with wire framing

Experience with Omnigraffle

The ability to tackle multiple tasks

The ability to pay attention to details

An understanding of the limitations of the web (i.e. you don't come up with crazy stuff that can not be easily implemented)

Pluses Include:

A combination of additional skillsets including user personas, logic/data flows, site maps, interaction diagrams, and/or functional specifications.

Familiarity with rapid prototyping utilizing JustInMind or Axure.

Apply: Please let me know your average weekly availability and send samples of your work or a link to your portfolio along with your response. Resumes are nice but I don't tend to look at them since the proof is in the pudding. Candidates of interest will be contacted in short order.
