Software Product Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, resourceful software product manager to join our rapidly growing team. This position is responsible for driving and defining the launch of new products along with enhancing existing products within QuickMAR. You should have a solid grasp of requirements gathering, UI/UX, Agile development methodologies and web technologies in order to deliver a high-quality product to meet our customer’s needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with executive team to define/update the product roadmap and ensure timely deliver of product enhancements and new product modules
  • Playing with the products
  • Develop and adapt the product vision
  • Evaluate data and insights for comprehensive strategy planning
  • Engage SME’s to define/refine requirements
  • Ordering/prioritization of product backlog (bugs, enhancement requests, etc)
  • Consolidate data into user stories and necessary product requirements
  • Lead development team as Scrum Master
  • Work with the CTO, COO and development teams to refine the development process and workflow
  • Refine the product UI/UX to be consistent with company branding
  • Build sprints and lead sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Work with product specialists to understand/resolve high priority issues
  • Observing, learning about, contacting and analyzing customers and end users of the product
  • Continual improvement of UI/UX
  • Responsible for product release planning
  • Manage software deployment
  • Ensure product aligns with company mission and goals
  • Manage offshore testing team (new feature QA, regression testing, automated testing) to ensure product quality
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure successful launch of features/products
  • Delighting customers

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Three years’ experience as a product owner, business analyst, or in a related field
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Experience as a Scrum Master is a plus
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence desired
  • Solid understanding of the software product lifecycle
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies along with a technical understanding of web products/technologies
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); strong working knowledge of software development
  • Self starter capable of working remote
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with requirements analysts, leadership, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate and manage remote and offshore team
