Senior Software Developer

– Accepting applications

The Senior Software Developer will work with internal and external stakeholders to help deliver high quality applications that solve business needs. This individual will be expected to understand complex problems and be able to think critically about solutions to help deliver an excellent, quality product. This position will work collaboratively with the IT Team in researching, architecting, developing, and testing leading edge technology solutions.   Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand and document requirements
  • Knows how to architect, implement, test, and document all components of a project
  • Picks up new technologies efficiently and quickly
  • Monitor and improve web application performance
  • Experience mentoring, working, and collaborating with team members
     
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Solid experience in C# developing web applications
  • Solid experience with relational databases, including design, indexing and performance tuning
  • Ability to run projects through solid processes (things like code reviews, reviewing stories and planning)
  • Can design and implement a REST API
  • Proficient and effective in using Git
  • High proficiency and previous experience with developing JavaScript web application backend and frontend. Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, fluency with CSS/SASS and strong UI/UX skills is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework, NPM, Webpack, Kendo UI
  • Knowledge of OOP and software design principles
  • Ability to write clear, web-standard, well-documented code
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • An independent work ethic
     
Credentials and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience building software/web applications
  • Lean Six Sigma a plus
