In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will:
•Understand that accessibility is much morethan people using screen readers and actively checks work to meet federalaccessibility standards and requirements with the WCAG standards.
•Know how to wield the power of a contentmanagement system (CMS) and create templates.
•Be familiar with html email composition and testing.
•Be familiar with CRM or email management systems likeMailchimp, Blackbaud, or Constant contact Must be familiar with html emailcomposition and testing.
•Have a good sense of the design process andcan articulate the process.
•Communicate well with clients and explain the processclearly.
•Provide support for creating student organizationwebsites and Faculty websites.
•Provide Cleanslate training and support to users.
•Be a team player
•Have a willingness to teach in various models includingco-workers, designers and communicators.
•Troubleshoot user issues and answer questions onCleanslate, Wufoo forms and Google Analytics.
•Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field.
•Two (2) years experience in each of the following:
- working on Web design mockups in Photoshop or Illustrator
- creating html email
- integrating designs into content management systems
- converting Photoshop templates to HTML5 and CSS
- developing responsive, mobile-friendly websites
•Standard drivers license as travel around campus is required.
